The Columbia-Fudan Global Summit on Aging & Health:

A Dialogue on Research, Policy, Health Systems and Industry Initiatives

October 17-19, Hilton Shanghai Conference Center, Shanghai, China

As lifespans continue to increase across the globe, countries must look to develop policies and structures that promote the active engagement and health of their aging populations.

Hosted by Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and Fudan University’s School of Public Health, this three-day summit draws aging experts from around the world for the cross-sector sharing of ideas among scientists, policy makers, and industry, to help countries prepare for the growth and opportunities of their aging populations.

ICAIA is proud to be invited as a member of the organization committee of this event.

Focus Discussion

The conference is co-hosted by the United States’ Columbia University and Shanghai’s Fudan University. We have also invited an international community of experts to the conference. Our goal is to analyze the characteristics, challenges, and opportunities of China’s aging population in the context of international experience. Three viewpoints will be the focus: scientific research on aging, national health policies on aging, and industry advances for the elderly.
